Packed up and told everyone we knew good bye. Headed 1600 miles from the town Ive always known. The 98 Subaru Outback I was driving blew a head gasket 2 hours into the 30 hour drive. We were tempted to turn back call our friends. Instead we called a tow truck and had it towed to John Howard Subaru in Morgantown West Virginia. They didnt have anything we could get in right away without a deposit. Seemed like a lost cause, $2000 was the cost to fix my Outback. We had about 1k between us, so we got drunk. Went to a hotel and tied one on, trying to think of ways to get to Colorado.
Next day we got a call, was John Howard they ordered some 08 vehicles and I could have one no money down. I signed those papers so fast Im surprised they didnt catch a blaze. Jumped in a brand new 2008 Subrau Impreza 2.5i . Very good car by the way and we made it to Colorado Im happy to say. This is an amazing place John Denver had it right. Finally getting caught up, got a good job. Were staying with his friends in a nice house. Getting paid more and better job, installing security camera software and building surveillance computers and standalone dvr boxes with palmvid.com
What an experience, I would recommend a change to everyone. It is truly amazing to make a drastic change in your life. Sometimes for the better sometimes for the worst, but always a growing experience. I cant tell you its been easy thats for sure. We have overcome a lot, Shockey and I. He is working hard labor jobs and helping with bills. What a great friend indeed.
Thanks for reading my story.
